Four employees of the Pakistani army were killed when a military helicopter crashed during an evacuation for technical reasons in Gilgit-Baltistan, the army said on Sunday.
The helicopter crashed in Minimarg in the Astore district on Saturday evening, the army said in a statement.
It transported the body of a soldier to the military hospital in Skardu. The pilot, the copilot and two soldiers were killed in the accident. The crash took place for technical reasons.
Gilgit-Baltistan Information Minister Fatullah Khan has expressed deep sadness over the tragedy.
