A 91-year-old Australian survived a paraglider crash and walked away with only minor injuries after falling into the ocean near Sydney’s northern beaches.
The older paraglider was helped out of the water by locals after it went down near Warriewood around 6 p.m. on Sunday, police said.
Ambulance services were called to a cliff near the property, where paramedics discovered the man had escaped with only cuts and bruises.
Local media footage showed the daredevil who was not named and walked over rocks with a bandaged left leg with the help of rescuers.
Police said the glider’s slide had been pulled out of the water.
The man was taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney for treatment.
