After Ben Stokes and Shane Warne, Michael Vaughan falls victim to Marlon Samuels’ insulting tirade on Instagram

Marlon Samuels’ ongoing rant on Instagram took a new turn, with the West Indian cricketer delving into Michael Vaughan. The former England captain spoke out against Samuel’s derogatory Instagram stories about Ben Stokes, which were rife with racism. Samuels took to Instagram and checked a news article detailing what Vaughan had said on Twitter. Boasting about the amount of money he had at his disposal, the veteran batsman spoke of his fragrance brand called Sextillion, which he says makes a lot of money, something Vaughan could never imagine.

Vaughan had previously taken to Twitter and wrote, “This is awful @marlonsamuels … we are trying to eradicate racism … !! A little banter by @ benstokes38 shouldn’t lead to this …”

All-rounder Ben Stokes had recently spoken about the challenges of quarantine. He joked that he didn’t wish it even his worst enemy Marlon Samuels, with whom he has had an intense rival on the cricket field.

Triggered by what Stokes said, Samuels abused both 2019 ODI World Cup winner and Australian Shane Warne. He used skin color abuse and also involved Stokes’s wife.

Warne responded on Twitter. “I just got what Samuels posted re @ benstokes38 & I. It’s a very sad situation as he clearly needs serious help but he has no friends at all and even his ex-teammates aren’t like him. Just because you’re a regular cricket player – you don’t have to be an ordinary person. Get help son, “Warne tweeted.

Samuel and Stokes have been on field splash several times, including the 2016 T20 World Cup Final between the West Indies and England.
