Nepalese spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has said that he cannot describe Virat Kohli’s greatness as there is no word that can describe the Indian skipper. Lamichhane, who plays for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL), recently did a question and answer session on Twitter when one of the users asked him to describe Kohli in one word. The Nepalese cricketer replied to the fan and said, “Do you think I can describe @imVkohli? There’s no word to describe him. He’s on that level.”

Lamichhane did not get a chance to participate in the 13th edition of IPL. When asked about the same thing, the Nepalese spinner said that as a player he should go with what’s best for the team.
“It happens. It’s a team game and you have to think about what’s best for the team,” Lamichhane said in a tweet.
Meanwhile, Kohli has moved up one spot and is currently ranked seventh in the ICC T20I rankings for batsmen.
India will be without the services of Kohli for the remainder of the Australia tour as the cricketer and Anushka Sharma are expecting their first child. The batsman had requested paternity leave from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and was therefore only available for the first Test in Adelaide.
Meanwhile, Australian coach Justin Langer has confirmed that the hosts will be closing the horns with India in the Boxing Day Test, with an unchanged XI on Saturday.
Langer said Australia will play with the same XI for the second test unless and until something happens in the next few days.
“I’ll be a pretty brave man to change the playing XI of this test match after the last one. Unless something happens in the next few days and it can happen in the world we live in, but we’re going with the same XI,” Langer said in a virtual press conference on Thursday.
India and Australia will close horns during the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground from December 26.
