China strongly rejects India’s ban on Chinese mobile apps: Ministry of Commerce

China’s Ministry of Commerce said Thursday it was firmly against India banning Chinese mobile apps.

Indian actions violate the legal interests of Chinese investors and service providers, and China is urging India to correct its mistakes, Commerce Ministry spokesman Gao Feng said in a briefing.

India has banned another 118 mostly Chinese mobile apps, including Tencent Holdings Ltd’s popular PUBG video game, citing data security concerns.
