Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed the importance of reforms in multilateral organizations at the G20 summit on Sunday to ensure better global governance for a faster recovery from COVID.

In his address on the second and final day of the summit, hosted by Saudi Arabia in a virtual format, PM Modi also highlighted India’s efforts towards inclusive development through a participatory approach.

“It was an honor for me to speak to G20 partners again on the 2nd day of the virtual summit hosted by Saudi Arabia,” he tweeted.

“Reaffirmed the importance of reforms in multilateral organizations to ensure better global governance for a faster recovery from COVID,” said PM Modi in a series of tweets following his address at the Summit of the World’s Top 20 Economies.

At the summit he also emphasized that a Aatmanirbhar Bharat will be a strong pillar of a resilient post-COVID world economy and global value chains.

“Underscored India’s civilizational commitment to harmony between man and nature and our success in increasing renewable energies and biodiversity,” said the Prime Minister in another tweet.
