Former Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar exclaimed the “insecurity” of current captain Babar Azam, who called him “a lost cow” who “doesn’t know what to do” there. Shoaib called Azam an insecure captain and called on Pakistani management to give the captain the “freedom” he needs. “If we don’t release Babar Azam (as captain), it will remain a case of a bio-uncertain bubble (for him),” Shoaib said in Urdu in a video on his YouTube channel. “Every member of the team is insecure. He (Azam) isn’t even sure he wants to stay as captain, ”added Shoaib.
Pakistan lost the second T20I against England in Manchester on Sunday despite a challenging total of 195 when Eoin Morgan (66) and Dawid Malan (54 *) staged a shootout in the 1950s after Jonny Bairstow and Tom Banton gave the hosts a good start and Help England reach the goal with five balls left.
‘Babar Azam looks like a lost cow to me. He doesn’t know what to do, ”Shoaib said. “He has to make his own decisions and accept wins and defeats as they come, so that he learns on the job and becomes a better captain for the future.”
Azam hit 56 of 44 balls to help Pakistan reach a competitive total, but his innings were overshadowed by 39-year-old Mohammad Hafeez who hit 69 from just 36 balls to give Pakistan a much-needed push towards death.
Babar has to understand that the opportunities are coming your way. But it won’t happen for the rest of your life. So use capital letters as much as possible, ‘Shoaib said.
“He plays with a stroke frequency of 127 (128.10), but he can accelerate to 135. The way Morgan, Malan and Bairstow play, they watch the tuck. Our boys look scared, ”added the former cricketer.
