Farhan Akhtar, on Tuesday, shared an emotional post for a family servant who recently died. The actor posted a photo of the staff member, who was very close to him, and wept with these words: “Dear Ramu, you have been part of our family before I was born and my childhood is peppered with memories of time past in your care, more vividly than you drive us to school, play Atari, go to the Bandra fair and be you the person who introduced me to the hit of Disco 80 Funky town! In his note, Farhan added: “You were always smiling, like in this picture. From the first time I remember seeing you until 4 decades later, when we last saw each other. Thank you for the years of love you have given us all. We are fortunate that you have honored our lives. Rest in peace.”
