Hardik Pandya, an Indian all-rounder, took to Twitter on Saturday to post an emotional video in which the cricketer paid tribute to his late father. Hardik’s father died on January 16. In the two-minute video, there is a clip that shows an interaction between Hardik’s father and the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. During their conversation, Amitabh praises Hardik’s father for raising a son who has made the country proud. The video also includes a montage of photos of Hardik with his father. “For Dad,” the all-rounder captioned the video along with a heart emoji.

Last week, Hardik had written an emotional note in memory of his late father.
Hardik had shared some photos with his father and said that losing him was one of the “hardest things” the 27-year-old cricketer could accept in his life.
“Losing you to my dad and my hero is one of the hardest things to accept in life, but you left us with so many wonderful memories that we can only imagine smiling,” Hardik said in his Instagram post.
Hardik, who has played 11 test games for the country, will return to the field shortly when India comes home to England for a string of four games.
The all-rounder, who was equipped for the Test series in Australia, was named in the 18-man squad for the first two games against England.
Hardik has not played a test match since September 2018. He had to undergo back surgery and has to bowl for a long time to come – a factor that made him miss the Test series Down Under.
