Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, who is often trending for her honest posts about everyday things, shared a thought with her family on social media. Ira Khan moved into a new home in July and in one of his recent Instagram stories, he wrote about experiencing the “I’m home” feeling. Sharing a selfie, Ira wrote, “I changed in July and felt like I hadn’t really realized I had a new home … that I was living on my own.” On Friday, Ira said she had a deep understanding once she returned home at the end of the day: “Today I came home and that’s what I was thinking ‘I’m home. It’s a nice feeling.”
In early July, Ira Khan revealed in an Instagram post that she moved into a new space: “Look at my new home,” she wrote, sharing a photo of her relaxing at a reading table. Since then, Ira has shared glimpses of her new home, especially her “favorite corner” in her new space.
On World Mental Health Day last month, Ira Khan revealed have been battling depression for more than four years. “I have decided to take you on a trip, my trip, and see what happens. Hopefully, we will get to know each other and understand mental illness a little better,” the video began with these words.
Ira Khan is the youngest of Aamir Khan’s two children with his first wife Reena Dutta. Ira has studied music, while his brother Junaid often helps his father in filmmaking. Aamir Khan is now married to filmmaker Kiran Rao and the couple are the parents of a nine-year-old son named Azad. Ira made her directorial debut with a stage adaptation of Euripides’ Medea, which featured Hazel Keech in the title role. It premiered in different cities in India in December last year.
