US President-elect Joe Biden announced on Monday the members of his White House digital strategy bureau, where Kashmiri-born Aisha Shah has assumed a senior position.
Ms. Shah has been named partnership manager in the White House digital strategy office, led by Rob Flaherty, director of digital strategy, according to an announcement by the Biden transition team.
Ms. Shah grew up in Louisiana and was previously the digital partnership manager for the Biden Harris campaign. She currently works as a Promotion Specialist for the Smithsonian Institution.
Prior to this role, Ms. Shah served as the associate director of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Corporate Fund, assisting the initial expansion of a presidential memorial.
Ms. Shah also served as a strategic communications specialist at Buoy, an integrated marketing firm specializing in social impact communications and Spitfire strategies. There she enabled non-profit organizations to use pop culture as an instrument for social change.
Other members of the White House Digital Strategy Office include Brendan Cohen (Platform Manager), Maha Ghandour (Digital Partnership Manager), Jonathan Hebert (Video Director), Jaime Lopez (Platform Director), Carahna Magwood (Creative Director), Abbey Pitzer (Designer), Olivia Raisner (director of travel content), Rebecca Rinkevich (assistant director of digital strategy), Christian Tom (assistant director of digital strategy) and Cameron Trimble (director of digital engagement).

These diverse, accomplished, and talented individuals show that the president-elect and vice-president-elect are building an administration that looks like America and is ready to deliver results on day one, the transition team said.

The White House Digital Strategy Office will not only empower and engage users online through traditional actions, but also develop partnerships aimed at expanding the President-elect’s reach beyond his own social platforms.
