The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League has witnessed two super overs in 10 matches so far and Rajasthan Royals batsman Rahul Tewatia is ready to show his skills should such a situation arise for his side in the coming games. Tewatia was the star of the game between the Royals and Kings XI Punjab on Sunday. The left-handed batsman came to bat at number four and had a tough time at one point as he only scored 13 points on the first 19 balls. However, in the 18th bowled over by Sheldon Cottrell, Tewatia destroyed five glorious sixes to turn the tide. The left-handed batsman played a hit of 53 when Rajasthan took an unlikely victory.

When asked if he could be seen as an option for Royals in Super Over, Tewatia told ANI, “The management, captain and coach have to decide who they want in the super, given the situation.”

“It also depends on the game that has played well. If I get such a chance, I will be ready for my team.

Rajasthan has now won their first two matches in the current edition of the IPL. The team will then face Kolkata Knight Riders on September 30, while Kings XI Punjab will face Mumbai Indians on October 1.
