DC vs SRH: Shreyas Iyer is in a pretty happy position as far as wins in IPL 2020 so far.© BCCI / IPL
Shreyas Iyer, Delhi Capitals skipper, is in a pretty happy position so far in terms of wins in IPL 2020. He was good with the bat, although the skipper is certainly hoping for more runs through the tournament. Iyer has scored 65 points in two matches so far, but is certainly expected to take a few big hits during IPL 2020. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has had a relatively quiet outing, with nothing in the wicket column of two matches. However, he is too good a bowler to miss all the time and if the law of averages is anything to live up to, he should be able to put in a decent performance soon.
Iyer has been in the middle of Delhi for a while, although his franchise never really looks like serious contenders. But 2020 could be different.
Iyer has played 64 games and has 1,746 runs to his credit, with 13 half centuries and a success rate of 126.70.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has played 119 IPL matches so far, snapping 133 wickets against an economy of 7.25. He has one five-wicket and two four-wicket hauls to his credit.
Depending on how the Delhi Capitals openers are doing, and also that SRH really needs to hit the road early, Shreyas Iyer and Bhuvneshwar Kumar could take it well, and that could be the difference at the end.
