Kings XI Punjab’s pace spearhead Mohammed Shami is currently one of the top contenders for the Purple Cap in IPL 2020 and is running an exciting race with Kagiso Rabada from Delhi Capitals. Shami had a great outing but was also on the receiving end like everyone else when Rajasthan Royals went ballistic. However, his figures are still among the best in KXIP bowlers. Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, would love to throw even more big blows on his side. MI has also had some good hitters, but still failed to deliver in two of the three games, so Sharma would like to add that closure. He and Shami are bound to duel.
Shami has claimed seven wickets from three matches in IPL 2020, at an economy of 7.45, which is much better than his career IPL economics of 8.90, where he has a profit of 47 wickets from 54 matches.
Rohit Sharma is one of the icons of IPL cricket. He was part of four IPL-winning teams, leading Mumbai Indians to the crown three times. He has a round of 100 runs in IPL 2020, 80 of which in one match, so he would like more such bigger scores.
In the IPL, Sharma has played 191 games and is two runs short of 5000, with a strike rate of 130.97.
