Mumbai Indians only became the second Indian Premier League franchise after Chennai Super Kings to win back-to-back titles on Tuesday with a five-wicket win over Delhi Capitals in Dubai. The five-time IPL champions took to Twitter to share a video showing their captain Rohit Sharma giving a speech to the squad in the locker room, thanking everyone for their contribution throughout the season. The video shows how Rohit thanked all the families for their sacrifices and thanked them for making sure the players stayed in the right zone to play the game.
“One last thanks to our families who have been here with us for making sure they sacrifice and be with us and make sure we are in the right zone to play the game. together and that’s what one family means. We were literally one family, ”said Rohit.
After a string of low scores, Rohit roared back into shape during the summit collision, breaking a fluid half-century.
Rohit scored a 51 ball 68 in a knock consisting of five boundaries and four maximums.
