With Chennai Super Kings (CSK) facing SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 match at Dubai International Stadium, MS Dhoni became the most capped player in IPL history on Friday. Raina, who withdrew from this year’s IPL, took to Twitter to congratulate the former India skipper. He wrote: “Congratulations Mahi bhai (@msdhoni) on becoming the IPL player with the most limits. Luckily you break my record. All the best for today’s game and I’m sure @ChennaiIPL will be the @ This season’s IPL will win. “

Shortly after Raina wished for Dhoni, many CSK fans came with heartwarming messages for the wicket-keeper-batsman.
One user wrote, “Damn this just made my day !! # CSKvsSRH # IPL2020”.
Dhoni has played in 194 IPL matches which is also the most for any cricketer.
He has overtaken Raina’s total of 193 IPL matches. The duo played together in 164 games for CSK.
During his IPL career, Dhoni has scored 4,476 points with an 84 (not out) as his highest score.
He has also recorded a strike rate of 137.89. The CSK skipper has scored 23 fifties, but not yet reached a hundred.
Its cut-off number is also impressive, with 299 fours and 212 sixes.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma has played 192 IPL matches and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has played 180 IPL matches.
After winning the IPL three times, CSK kicked off their 2020 campaign on a winning note, beating MI by five wickets. They followed it up with a 16-point defeat to Rajasthan Royals (RR) and a 44-point loss to Delhi Capitals (DC).
CSK is currently at the bottom of the IPL table.
