Ruturaj Gaikwad from Chennai Super Kings has joined the squad, the franchise announced on Monday. “The first thing you want to see on Monday morning. Look who’s back! #Ruturaj #WhistlePodu,” CSK tweeted as she posted a photo of Gaikwad. The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) started in the UAE on Saturday. The Chennai-based franchise got off to a winning start in the competition when they took a five-wicket win against Mumbai Indians in the opening game of the competition.

Previously, however, CSK had a seedy start to their campaign in the UAE, as some members of the camp had tested positive for COVID-19 and the entire contingent had to quarantine themselves longer than expected.

CSK is now preparing for the next clash, which will take place on Tuesday against Rajasthan Royals.
