Mumbai Indians recorded a five-wicket victory against Delhi Capitals on Sunday, and all-rounder Axar Patel believes sloppy fielding was responsible for the defeat. Mumbai Indians chased a total of 163 with five wickets in hand and two balls left against Delhi Capitals. Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav each played 53 tricks for the Mumbai Indians. For Delhi Capitals, Kagiso Rabada was the bowlers’ choice when he returned with the numbers of 2-28. De Kock and Suryakumar had sewn together a partnership of 46 runs to give Mumbai a head start in the match.

“All the bowlers were confident and expected what we had planned. I have a feeling that if we had avoided a few misfields and drops, the result might have been different. , that was very good, ” Axar said in a video posted to Delhi Capitals’ Twitter handle.

First, the Delhi Capitals hit a total of 162/4 in the allotted twenty overs, thanks to an unbeaten 69-run knockout by Shikhar Dhawan. Axar believes that positives can be taken from the game despite the defeat.

“The positives we get from this game are that our batsman scores points. Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan is getting in shape, Shreyas is in shape,” Axar said.

Delhi Capitals will then close the horns with Rajasthan Royals on Oct. 14, while Mumbai Indians will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Oct. 16.
