Ravichandran Ashwin, who is known for tricking batsmen with his spin bowling, appears to have added another variation to his repertoire. The Delhi Capitals spinner took to Instagram to share a video of him bowling in the nets. This time, however, Ashwin was seen trying to rotate the left arm. “Right or wrong is just a perception, which is why they say“ cheating is an art. ”# Ipl2020 # covid19,” Ashwin captioned the video on Instagram. Like most players, Ashwin is also sweating it out on the ground ahead of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Ashwin, who has captained Kings XI Punjab for the past two seasons, joined Delhi Capitals after a successful swap between the two franchises ahead of the annual auction last December.
The off-spinner has collected 125 wickets from 139 games in the cash-rich competition.
The Delhi-based franchise managed to qualify for the playoffs last season and they have added Marcus Stoinis and Ajinkya Rahane to their roster as they try to win their first IPL title.
