Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), which finished on the bottom last year, has had a great start to the IPL 2020 campaign, winning three out of four matches. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, seem to have continued the momentum from last year, in which they finished third, this season and the team appears to be beating. So when these two teams go head-to-head in Dubai on Monday, fans will witness some exciting clashes, including the one between Virat Kohli and Kagiso Rabada. Delhi and RCB have each had only one defeat in four games and a win on Monday night will put the team at the top of the IPL 2020 points table.

RCB skipper Virat Kohli and Delhi Capitals leader Shreyas Iyer both led their party from the front in their previous match, leading their matches to victory.

While the Bengaluru-based outfit got the better of Rajasthan Royals by beating them by eight wickets, Delhi Capitals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 18 runs in a high-scoring match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

When it is difficult to pick a favorite based on current form, one can always take help from previous records to gauge which team has been dominant over the years. The head-to-head statistics between the two sides give a clear advantage to RCB who has recorded 15 wins in 24 meetings, including one in the Super Over. Delhi Capitals has managed to secure just eight wins, while one match has ended with no result.

Based on their great run so far this season, it’s hard to tell one team from another, with their net run rate being the only differentiator between them. This will change after Monday’s clash, however, as one team will widen the gap by adding two more points to their total, while the other will go home empty-handed.
