Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Oct. 12. Currently, RCB is fourth in the standings in the top half of the table, with KKR in third place. Both teams have played six games, won four and lost two games, with Dinesh Karthik’s side having a better net run rate. In their last three games, RCB and KKR won two and crashed to defeat. The defeats of both outfits have fallen against Delhi Capitals (DC).
With the season finally gaining momentum, it looks like RCB skipper Virat Kohli has finally found his niche in the tournament. The Indian cricketer had got off to a bad start, hitting a 90-point unbeaten knockout against Chennai Super Kings in the previous match of his match, which they comfortably won. He will compete against KKR against Pat Cummins, who has to prove a point in the current edition. Although the Australian pacemaker has recorded only two wickets in six games this season. On Monday he will be keeping an eye on Kohli’s wicket, which could be a huge boost of confidence for him!
The two teams faced each other 24 times in the IPL, with KKR boasting 14 wins. Meanwhile, RCB has achieved 10 victories.
