Jasprit Bumrah is known for toe-crushing yorkers and sharp bouncers, but who knew the fast bowler could all but beat the bowling action of former India skipper Anil Kumble. In a video shared by the BCCI on Twitter, Bumrah can be seen mimicking Kumble’s action and he pretty much succeeded.
“We’ve all seen @ Jaspritbumrah93’s fiery yorkers and keen bouncers. Here’s a never-before-seen version of the fast bowler. Boom tries to recreate and pretty much nails @ anilkumble1074’s legendary bowling action,” BCCI wrote. caption.

Kumble, a legend of the game, had announced his retirement from international cricket in 2008. He finished with 619 wickets in the longest format of the game.
He has the third highest number of wickets (619) in Tests, behind only Muttiah Muralitharan from Sri Lanka (800) and Shane Warne from Australia (708).
Kumble is the second bowler in international cricket history after England’s Jim Laker who took all ten wickets in an innings of a test match. He had performed against Pakistan in 1999 at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi.
Kumble had returned with bowling figures of 10/74 from 26.3 overs in the second innings of the Test match. Kumble is currently the head coach of Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Bumrah, he was last seen in action in the recently concluded test series against Australia. He will next play in the upcoming four-game test series against England, which starts in Chennai on February 5.
