By Jesse Cohen – Wall Street stocks ended lower in another volatile session on Friday, after US President Donald Trump’s positive test for COVID-19 scared investors and added to growing uncertainties surrounding the election imminent.

The closed 134 points, or about 0.5%, fell to 27,682, after falling 430 points earlier in the session.

Down around 1% to 3,248 after falling 1.7% to session low. The fell 2.2% to close at 11,075.

Despite Friday’s losses, the Dow and the S&P 500 respectively recorded their first weekly gains in five weeks. The Dow Jones climbed 1.9% over the week while the S&P 500 rose 1.5% over the same period.
