Former Indian captain and president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) Mohammad Azharuddin filed a complaint with police on Monday alleging that a member of the association verbally “ abused him, ” an official said Tuesday. The issue is related to Yousuf’s raise and bonus. According to the police, Yousuf got permission to raise directly from the HCA president without informing the secretary and treasurer of HCA Surendra Agarwal. When Agarwal questioned Yousuf, an argument broke out between the two, and later one of the HCA members Moiz became involved and “abused” Agarwal and Yousuf “verbally”, the complainant said.

Moiz, a member of HCA, used non-parliamentary language against Yousuf and against HCA president; this happened in the absence of Azharuddin. Later, Yousuf informed Azharuddin about the incident. However, when inquired, no one confirmed that Azharuddin was being abused by anyone. In the investigation there was a problem between Yousuf, treasurer, and HCA member Moiz, ”N Ch Ranga Swamy, police inspector told ANI.

A case has been registered under 504 IPC, 506 IPC and an FIR has also been filed.
