Rizwan’s comments came as he scored a gritty half-century helping Pakistan take a four-wicket victory over New Zealand in the third T20I at McLean Park in Napier on Tuesday. Rizwan hit a sublime 89 from just 59 balls while the visitors dodged a series of whitewash.
New Zealand and Pakistan will now face each other in a two-game test series starting on December 26. Williamson has returned to the New Zealand Test side, while Pakistan will be led by Rizwan in the first Test as regular skipper Babar Azam is injured.
