Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Dinesh Karthik praised youngsters Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti for their “incredible” performance against Rajasthan Royals. The duo made their presence felt on Wednesday in the 12th game of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with two layoffs each. Nagarkoti further grabbed the spotlight with his fieldwork and pulled a stunning catch to fire the English pacemaker Jofra Archer, who at one point seemed dangerous. KKR beat RR by 37 runs, breaking the unbeaten streak of the latter in the current edition of the tournament.
“I liked a lot of things – the way Gill started, the way Russell started, the way Morgan held his head. The beautiful sight of the youngsters going for the catch doesn’t matter how high it is.
