Russia on reports from hackers targeting Biden Campaign Firm: nonsense

Russia said reports of state hackers targeting Joe Biden’s campaign firms “look like nonsense.”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday that Russian state hackers had targeted one of the key advisory firms in the election campaign of US Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Three people who were briefed on the matter previously told Reuters that Microsoft Corp had alerted the company in question that it had been attacked by suspected state-sponsored Russian hackers.

The hacking attempts for the past two months have been targeted against employees at Washington-based SKDKnickerbocker, a campaign strategy and communications firm that works with Biden and other prominent Democrats.
