With the coronavirus still spreading across India, everyone, especially athletes, has taken in the mundane moments of life since the country shut down in March. Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also seems to be enjoying the unusual sides of his life. He occasionally shares those moments on social media. The 47-year-old recently shared an adorable video with a cat on Instagram that was praised by his fans. He captioned the video as, “My new friend is back! Looks like he’s missing the Vada Pav from the last visit.”
Earlier Sachin had posted a photo of him making vada pav. The same cat was seen in one of the photos. Sachin had said the cat was secretly watching him prepare the dish. the message was captioned as: “Vada Pav was, is and will always be one of my favorite snacks. Also had an unexpected visitor who wanted one too … Swipe to see the visitor”.
Since the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, Sachin has been experimenting with cooking. Besides the vada pav he also posted a video of him explaining how to prepare mango kulfi.
Considered by many to be one of the greatest hitters in the world, Sachin retired in 2013. He made his international debut in 1989.
