With festival season finally in full swing, Sachin Tendulkar took to Instagram to share a moment during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. He’s been using social media regularly since the lockdown started in March. The cricket legend wore a white shirt and posted a series of two photos. One of them shows him buttoning his shirt. Meanwhile, he can be seen in the other photo looking at his reflection in the mirror. The photo is captioned as: “Me: my reflection: all done!”
Fans took to the comment section of the photo to greet their idol. One fan replied, “Cricket history changer”.
Meanwhile, another wrote: “Always be the best Hits”.
Many fans called his look “cool”, with a comment: “Looking cool sir”.
The 47-year-old has been quite active on social media lately. He shares food recipes, throwback photos, photos with family members. He also recently posted an adorable photo with a cat.
Born in Mumbai, Sachin made his debut in India in a test match against Pakistan in Karachi in November 1989, when he was only 16 years old. He made his ODI debut in December the same year.
He held multiple cricket records and also received the Arjuna Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, Padma Shri, Padma Vibhushan and the Bharat Ratna. In 2019 he was also inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. He is also the highest run-scorer of all time in international cricket, and won the 2011 World Cup with India. In total he played six World Cup matches.
