Veteran singer S P Balasubrahmanyam, who is being treated for COVID-19 at Chennai’s MGM Healthcare Hospital, tested negative on Monday, said his son S P Charan. However, the 74-year-old singer is still connected to the fan. Sharing a video on his Instagram profile, SPB’s son SP Charan said: “We were hoping Dad’s lungs would improve as they were, but unfortunately we are not yet at the point where we can get rid of the fan. But the good news. news is that dad is COVID negative. ” The signer was admitted to MGM Healthcare hospital in Chennai on August 5 after testing positive for the virus. S P Balasubrahmanyam had mild symptoms when he was taken to the hospital this month. However, he was later transferred to the Intensive Care Unit or ICU and placed on life support when his condition deteriorated.
However, the hospital is not issuing a newsletter today on the singer’s health. On September 3, the bulletin stated that he was on “ICU ventilation and ECMO” and that his “clinical condition was stable. He is conscious, responsive and continues to show clinical progress.”
Adding more details about his father’s health update, S P Charan she said in the video: “Other than that, we had a little celebration for Mom and Dad for their anniversary. Dad is watching a lot of cricket and tennis on his iPad. He’s looking forward to the IPL and is writing and communicating a lot.”
