Elon Musk, chief executive officer of Tesla Inc, said Thursday he did four coronavirus tests on the same day, two showing positive results while the other two were negative.

“There is something extremely wrong going on. Tested four times for Covid today. Two tests were negative, two positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD,” Musk said possibly in a tweet referring to the antigen -Quick test from Becton Dickinson and Co.

Tesla’s CEO said he also ran polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests in separate laboratories, the results of which will take about 24 hours.

When asked by a Twitter user if he was showing any symptoms, Musk said he had symptoms of a “common cold.”

“Nothing unusual so far,” added Musk.

Becton Dickinson said in September it is investigating reports from U.S. nursing homes that its rapid coronavirus testing devices are producing false positive results.
