An “overwhelmed” Bobby Deol, who had two consecutive OTT releases recently, shared a thank you note for his fans on his Instagram profile on Tuesday. The 51-year-old actor shared an image that had stills from his movie. Class of 83 (which was released on streaming giant Netflix) and its web series Aashram (streaming in MX Player). Bobby Deol wrote in his caption: “Overwhelmed by the love and affection he poured out on me.” This acceptance and appreciation will be my most precious reward … I love you all. “The actor aroused a sense of curiosity in his fans and signed the post saying,” Excited for more to come … Love, love, love. “

Class of 83, Directed by Atul Sabharwal and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, it marked Bobby Deol’s debut in the digital arena. The film shows the journey of a diverted police officer to a punishment post as the dean of the police academy, training the top five candidates to overthrow corrupt officials backed by some of the most wanted criminals.
In his review for GossipMantri, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the film 2.5 stars out of 5, but praised Bobby Deol’s performance and wrote: “The setting is sadly familiar, but Bobby Deol surprises with his simple imitation of an impassive and fair cop who gets angry at his corrupt political boss.”
In the meantime,Aashram, which marked Prakash Jha’s digital debut as a director, shows the story of a spiritual leader named Baba Nirala of Kashipur, his cult, and his transformation from Godman into a con man.
Reviewing Aashram For GossipMantri, Saibal Chatterjee gave the series “bingeworthy” 3 stars out of 5 stars and wrote: “There is no denying that Prakash Jha’s digital debut is ambitious, provocative and action-packed. It has an incessant crunch that grabs attention. . “
