Radha Yadav became the first bowler in Women’s T20 Challenge history to take a five-wicket draw when she finished with marks of 5 for 16 in four overs for Supernovas against Trailblazers in the 2020 edition final. She got three of these five wickets in the last of the first inning when she ejected Sophie Ecclestone (1), Harleen Deol (4) and Jhulan Goswami (1), before Nattakan Chantam (0) got out on the last pitch. of the 20th over that only yielded one run for the Trailblazers. As a result, Trailblazers were limited to 118 for 8 after Supernovas won the coin toss and elected to field.

Radha had also fired Richa Ghosh for 10 earlier in the innings when Trailblazers slowed down and spectacularly capitulated after the firing of their captain and top scorer on the night of Smriti Mandhana (68 out of 49) in the 15th over.

Trailblazers were 101 for 2 after 15 overs with all-rounder Deepti Sharma and Richa in the fold. A collapse that caused them to lose 6 to 17 in the last five meant they ended on a sub-par score.

Radha started the last over of the inning by ejecting Ecclestone, who threw a flying pitch in the air only for Shakera Selman to take cover to take an easy catch.

Similarly, Radha got Harleen ejected on the fourth ball from the over before Goswami was knocked off the next pitch.

She was on a hat-trick on the last ball, but Chatnam kept it out, though not without letting herself run in an attempt to get an extra run.

Trailblazers and Supernovas made it to the final of the 2020 Women’s T20 Challenge by finishing as the top two teams on the points table, while the third team, Velocity, was eliminated.
