Yuzvendra Chahal shares hilarious post about the “Pose Of The Decade” award

Yuzvendra Chahal indulged in some self-deprecation on Wednesday when he shared a message in his Instagram stories showing that he was the winner of a “Pose Of The Decade” award – a parody of the ICC Awards of the Decade recently released. announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC). “Thank you, I’m honored,” Chahal wrote in the post where he was able to relax at the border with a tray of drinks by his side during one of India’s one-day international games.



Chahal, who recently married longtime partner Dhanashree Verma, last played for India in the limited-overs series against Australia in November-December.

The 30-year-old remains active on social media and recently shared several photos and videos from his wedding celebrations.

Chahal and his wife Dhanashree posted photos featuring former Indian captain MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi, who had invited the Chahals to dinner.

“Extremely happy and blessed,” Chahal wrote on Instagram while posting a photo with Dhoni.
Dhanashree had also posted photos showing the two couples in a group.

A leg spinner by trade, Chahal made his international debut in 2016, playing 54 ODIs and 45 T20Is.

Chahal has 92 ODI wickets and 59 T20I wickets to his name.

He played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Indian Premier League 2020 where the team made it to the play-offs.


Chahal is expected to appear in India’s home series international cricket against England in March 2021.

England is scheduled for four Tests, five T20Is and three ODIs in February-March 2021.
